What is the attire for the weekend?Be sure to dress for late October weather in Rhode Island. We encourage sorors to wear lots of Red and paraphernalia throughout the weekend! The Rededication ceremony has a strict dress code: Black attire (uninterrupted, so no patterns). No pants allowed. Dress and skirts/blouse are acceptable. Mocktail reception and Sisterhood Dinner (immediately precedes the Rededication ceremony) It would be acceptable to wear a red dress or jumpsuit to the reception and dinner, but be sure to change in time for the Rededication ceremony. The Sergeant at Arms will strictly enforce the dress code and arrival time for the ceremony. You will not be allowed in to the Rededication ceremony if you are late or not appropriately attired. There are several events, including a Funk-Nite, panels, networking events, and several dinners so be sure to pack a variety of clothing for the weekend. Please keep in mind that the BAR Dinner is “elegant chic to casual wear” attire and Deltas are encouraged to wear Red with or without (white/black) African inspired dress.
